A circus-inspired comedy caper

On a dimly lit Victorian-era street, we meet a hapless lamplighter with a heart of gold but skills as dim as the gas lamps he's trying to light. Trouble arises when the town policeman unwittingly finds himself entangled in the escapades.

Despite the attempt to restore order, chaos ensues, as the ever swaying lamppost leads the pair on a whimsical waltz through the town, leaving the audience in stitches and the streets in darkness.

Shoddy Theatre are proud to present the highly anticipated slapstick circus-inspired production of…

A Shoddy Lamplighter.

A man dressed in vintage clothing is falling or jumping from a streetlamp, with a surprised or frightened expression, against a pinkish sunset background.
