It's opening night of the school nativity. The parents are seated, the tea lights are flickering, and the curtain is about to rise — but there’s just one problem: the children haven’t arrived.

With the audience in waiting, a stern vicar, a frazzled deputy head, and a dim-witted teaching assistant are forced to step in and save the show. With no cast, no plan, and just 24 hours’ notice, the trio attempt to stage the Nativity themselves. What follows is a chaotic, ill-judged, and increasingly desperate retelling of the Christmas story, complete with improvised costumes, missing props, bruised egos, and interpretations of the Nativity that may never be forgiven

Expect frantic costume changes, ill-advised accents, accidental theology, and carols that spiral spectacularly out of control in this gloriously shambolic retelling of the greatest story ever told.
